9 am - 5 pm
Gift Certificates available.
Our youth events are about more than just riding! Children learn to build relationship with animals through mindfulness and self-awareness.
Working with horses naturally promotes social and emotional growth, fostering empathy, communication, and self-confidence in a way that's engaging and deeply rewarding.
Designed for children ages 6-14
Activities include:
Learning the art of non-verbal communication
Grooming and other paths to connection
Groundwork with a focus on responsiveness and communicating in the horse's language
Mindfulness movement on the mat
Riding lessons appropriate to skill level
Story hour: hot cider, popcorn, and tales of the most legendary horses of all time
Fun with all of the animals on the farm, including dogs, cats, goats, miniature horses, a mini cow and a llama!
Stacey’s passion and dedication to building relationships between the horse is rider is inspiring. My daughter leaves lessons calm and empowered. Our family will always recommend Heart-Centered Horsemanship.
Tanya Restar
When children learn to communicate in the way the horse naturally understands, and to create a relationship in which the horse says "yes" to requests, they will know that there is never a need for force or dominance in the horse/human partnership. These are lessons that can empower children far beyond the arena.
